Facebook: A Goldmine for Coupons and Freebies
by Maegan on Jul.27, 2011, under Couponing, Maegan's Deals
Anyone who knows me, knows that lately I am all about couponing. I have learned so much over the last couple of months about how to get all those great deals and tons of free stuff.
One thing I have noticed is that the single greatest place to find amazing promotions such as free giveaways, contests, sweepstakes and great coupons, is Facebook. All these years I have been hopelessly addicted to Facebook, and yet I never would have guessed that I could use it to get free things.
Many products have their own Facebook page and it seems that they all, at one time or another, have some kind of promotion going on. I frequently find contests, free product giveaways, and really good coupons. Usually, all you have to do is ‘like’ their Facebook page to be entered into the contest or sweepstakes, or to receive the item and coupons.
I spent some time finding all the product pages that I could and ‘liking’ them. Now when a page is about to have a promotion, contest or giveaway, they post on my wall informing me in advance. How easy is that? Shreddies, for example, just had one a few weeks ago: I liked their page and they mailed me a coupon for a free box of Shreddies! I got my Shreddies yesterday at Save On Foods and didn’t have to pay a dime!
Febreeze also had a giveaway recently. For liking their page you got a Febreeze Set and a Refresh air freshener. Other free giveaways I have seen lately are for Maynards Blush Berries, Skinny Cow Ice Cream, Triscuits and Vector cereal.

Hey! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any points or suggestions? Thank you

Incredible! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a completely different subject but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Wonderful choice of colors!

Hello this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

One of the big problems with San Ramon,Newark and Mcclymonds is they suffer from lapsesThey have to play 100 % to winSR and Newark lost games they should have wonMack suffers from playing street ball insead displined heads up BB.Mack should have been 27-4 instead of 17-14 and and had no business in the playoffs although they gave Granite Bay all they could handle when the chips were downDLS faces Granite Bay who has the height, but DLSs consist pressure style BB will most likely over shadow GBs size unless GB can cover both ends of the court at full speed and get control of the boards and box out DLSs gunners.

Currently it sounds like WordPress is the best blogging platform out there right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you’re using on your blog?

In the great pattern of things you actually get an A for effort and hard work. Exactly where you misplaced me was on your facts. You know, it is said, the devil is in the details… And it couldn’t be much more accurate in this article. Having said that, allow me say to you just what did deliver the results. Your text is very powerful which is possibly the reason why I am taking the effort to opine. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that. Secondly, although I can notice the jumps in reasoning you come up with, I am not necessarily sure of exactly how you seem to connect the ideas which in turn produce your final result. For now I will yield to your issue but wish in the near future you actually link your facts much better.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

The second man is supposed to be Nick Markakis, who has usually been hitting 3rd due to injury to Derek Lee. Markakis is also off to a terrible start, the .290/.300 hitter was down closer to .240 most of the first 2 months.
